Jonathan Eilbracht, Director of Strategic Programming Strong communities are built through collaborative relationships and shared vision. At the West Central Indiana Partnership (WCIP), that work is led by individuals who are deeply committed to connecting people and ideas across the region. Jonathan Eilbracht, Director of Strategic Programming, plays a key role in advancing that mission through strategic initiatives that support talent development, civic engagement and regional growth.
A Background Rooted in Community and Collaboration Jonathan brings a diverse professional background to the WCIP, grounded in both relationship building and regional engagement. He earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Recreation and Sport Management from Indiana State University and went on to gain experience as a Direct Sales Representative with the St. Louis Cardinals. Later, he served as a Community Engagement Officer for Clay County with the Wabash Valley Community Foundation. Driving Strategic Programming Across West Central Indiana In his role as Director of Strategic Programming, Jonathan helps with the implementation of the West Central Indiana Talent Network, which includes initiatives such as the Intern Experience of West Central Indiana, Connect IN West Central Indiana, Civic Engagement Series of West Central Indiana and the Leadership Academy of West Central Indiana. In addition, Jonathan leads the implementation of the See You in Terre Haute Community Plan, working closely with regional partners to gather updates on key accomplishments and track the progress of local working groups. The Importance of Connection When asked about his favorite part of working at the WCIP, Jonathan points to the connections being made across the region. Not only the connections he has made throughout the region, but also those made between other leaders and community members across county lines. Great things can be accomplished when we work together and collaborate. That collaborative spirit is at the heart of the WCIP’s work and a key driver of its success. A Standout Success in 2025 One of the biggest milestones for the WCIP in 2025, according to Jonathan, was the launch of the Leadership Academy of West Central Indiana. After a highly competitive application process, 26 leaders from across the region were selected to participate in the inaugural cohort. Participants represented a wide range of industries, including healthcare, business education, nonprofit, banking, government, manufacturing and construction. It was great to see the interest in the program from organizations throughout West Central Indiana, and he is excited to see what the second year has in store. What Jonathan Wishes More People Knew About the WCIP Jonathan emphasizes that the WCIP is always open to listening and learning from communities throughout the region. The WCIP team will always make time to sit down with anyone throughout our region to learn more about your community’s priorities. Big or small, we want to hear about what is going on in your community and how the WCIP could assist those efforts. With team members traveling throughout the region each week, the WCIP is eager to connect and collaborate with partners who want to help move West Central Indiana forward. Favorites Around the Region Outside of work, Jonathan enjoys many of the things that make the region special. His favorite regional event is the Covered Bridge Festival, a tradition he and his wife have shared since high school. When it comes to local businesses, The Cottage in Clinton tops his list. Let’s Connect If you’re interested in collaborating with the WCIP or learning more about its programs, Jonathan would love to hear from you. Email: [email protected] Phone: (812) 243-9024

Josh Alsip, VP Regional Engagement At the West Central Indiana Partnership, our work is driven by people who are deeply committed to the communities they serve. One of those leaders is Josh Alsip, Vice President of Regional Engagement, whose passion for collaboration and community building helps move our region forward every day. A Background Rooted in Community Engagement Josh holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing from Indiana State University and brings a strong background in community and regional development to the WCIP. Before joining the Partnership, he served as Director of Community Engagement at the Terre Haute Chamber of Commerce and before that as Community Engagement Manager with the Indiana Destination Development Corporation. These roles allowed him to work closely with local leaders, businesses and organizations to strengthen communities and elevate regional identity, experience he now brings to the WCIP. His Role at WCIP As Vice President of Regional Engagement, Josh works closely with business leaders, community stakeholders, nonprofit organizations and elected officials to position West Central Indiana as a competitive, connected and vibrant region. His responsibilities include guiding the implementation of community and regional plans, supporting Main Street and Downtown initiatives, advancing talent attraction and retention strategies, promoting regional quality of life efforts and overseeing regional data collection. What He Loves Most About WCIP For Josh, the most rewarding part of working at WCIP has been getting to know the people who make West Central Indiana special. “I truly believe our work is much bigger than any one person or single initiative. The real impact comes from people coming together as a united front," said Josh. Building relationships with leaders and residents across the region has been especially meaningful, and Josh’s love for the region begins with the people who call it home. A Standout Success in 2025 Josh points to the inaugural Regional Summit as one of WCIP’s biggest successes in 2025. Hosted in partnership with the Wabash River Regional Development Authority, the event brought together more than 100 leaders from all five counties to celebrate the unveiling of the We Are West Central brand and the Regional Pact. With more than 100 signatures now on the Pact, the Summit marked a major step toward stronger regional unity. Looking ahead to 2026, Josh is excited to build on this momentum with new initiatives that further strengthen collaboration across West Central Indiana. What He Wishes People Knew About WCIP Josh wants people to understand that the impact of WCIP comes from a shared commitment to the region. “Every member of our team is driven by our mission and dedicated to achieving our objectives, knowing that real progress happens when a region comes together as one," stated Josh. Favorites Around the Region When it comes to regional events, Josh’s favorite is the Clinton Little Italy Festival, a celebration of the area’s Italian and coal mining heritage. The event holds special meaning for him because it is where his daughter rode her very first miniature Ferris wheel. Choosing a favorite local business is no easy task, but Josh gives special recognition to the local retail scene in Parke County. While the Covered Bridge Festival draws national attention each fall, he appreciates the creative shops that support the county throughout the year, including G and M Variety, Rusted Root Co. and The Clay Plant. He and his wife, Emily, enjoy visiting these shops and supporting them whenever possible. Let’s Connect! Josh believes strongly in collaboration and keeps his door open to new ideas and partnerships. If you are interested in learning more about WCIP or exploring ways to work together, you can reach him by email at [email protected] or by phone at (812) 241-2996.
