VCCF Awards $2,500 to South Vermillion Baseball Program
The Vermillion County Community Foundation awarded a $2,500 grant to the South Vermillion High School baseball program to help purchase a new pitching machine. The equipment will be used by both the high school and middle school teams to improve practice and player development. Athletic Director Justin Lowry said the machine will help simulate game-speed pitching and give students better training opportunities.
