Terre Haute Regional Airport Unveils Six New Hangars

The Terre Haute Regional Airport recently celebrated the completion of six new 60x60-foot aircraft hangars, a $5.1 million investment that expands aviation capacity and supports future economic growth. Funded through a combination of local investment and a $1.5 million Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act federal grant, each new hangar can accommodate 1–4 aircraft, depending on size, creating valuable new capacity for current and future tenants, helping address a nationwide shortage of hangar space. The project strengthens the airport's ability to attract new aviation activity, business investment and larger aircraft, creating new opportunities for economic development and enhancing Terre Haute's connectivity to the region and beyond.
